1 lb of spinach ( i.e. a bag) (because of the larger group I also added some fresh baby spinach leaves) 1 -2 pints of strawberries sliced up (add more as you would like.) 1/2 cup of slivered almonds 1 1/2 tsp minced onions (one small onion) wash spinach thoroughly and take out the big veins and tear into bite sized hunks set spinach aside to drain well or use a salad spinner to get rid of excess water. Put spinach in bowl add strawberries , onions and slivered almonds. Add dressing just BEFORE serving....not too early or spinach goes soggy. Toss. Salad Dressing best made in a jar that you can shake vigorously before pouring on salad 1/4 cup of white sugar 1/2 cup vegetable oil ( I used corn oil) 1/4 cup white vinegar 2 table spoons of sesame seeds 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds 1/4 teaspoon of paprika 1/4 teaspoon of worchester sauce
